Philosophy - "Less is More" & "Green is Good"

Less is More -- Massage and Facials

One of my strengths as a massage practitioner is my ability to sink into my client's muscles gradually. My clients are very rarely sore after a session even when there are moments of intensity. They appreciate receiving bodywork that sinks into their deeper layers in a way that is comfortable and relaxing. When you are on my table, I wait for your muscles to soften before I drop deeper.

My touch during facials is gentle and thorough. I limit my extraction time to 10-15 minutes, if extractions are indicated. All of my products are free of colors, synthetic fragrance and controversial preservatives common to a lot of mainstream cosmetics. I have some products which are free of essential oils as well, for those who are very sensitive.

Less is More -- Tipping

Tipping can be confusing and much debated. Here is my view: Since I'm running my own business, setting my own prices and keeping any profit, please feel free to pay for your treatment with nothing extra added. I strongly encourage you to use the "extra" money to book your next service with me, or to purchase one of my skin care products! For those of you who, nevertheless, feel moved to add a gratuity, know that your gift is accepted with much gratitude. Thank you all for your patronage.

Green is Good

I love finding ways to make my business eco-friendly and I invest some extra money in my supplies to make that happen. All of my sheets are organic cotton. My business materials are printed on 100% post-consumer waste paper. The paper cups in my office are tree-free. Most of my skin care products contain organic ingredients. If you have any questions, please ask.
